Catamaran

Understand the important sailing and systems differences between a Monohull and Catamaran by taking our Catamaran Cruising class. This 2 day live aboard training course is one of the most thorough catamaran training courses available and will provide you with the skills you will need to safely skipper a sailing catamaran up to 48 ft, in daylight hours, within coastal waters.

Structure:

You will enjoy 2 days and 1 night aboard our luxurious catamaran. Typically, there are only three students per boat/instructor, but we can accommodate four if a group of friends or two couples enroll together.

Multihull structure, behavior, and performance and the differences to a monohull. New components & features, boat systems & troubleshooting, advanced multihull mooring/docking/anchoring techniques, sail reefing, crew overboard recovery, dinghy towing/use of davits, and much more.
